We are fired up and moved to action.
We are taking BORDERLAND | The Line Within on a national tour this fall. Calling it The Abrazos Tour, we’ll be screening across the country in cities north, south, east and west, partnering with groups working to organize and strengthen immigrant communities. We kick off the tour on September 13th with a one week run at the DCTV’s Firehouse Cinema in New York City. We’ll then travel to Boston, Washington, Chicago, Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Houston, Austin, El Paso, Tucson, Flagstaff, San Diego, Los Angeles–with another week-long run at the Laemmle Glendale Theater–and San Francisco. We’ll be attending most screenings and organizing Q&As with protagonists and local organization representatives to follow each.

BORDERLAND and our associated impact campaign will raise public awareness and encourage people to think differently about immigration. The film questions and exposes the broken immigration system which has been implemented through Democratic and Republican administrations for decades, with billions in profits being made on the surveillance, incarceration, and deportation of immigrants.
Not in one of THE ABRAZOS TOUR 14 cities? BORDERLAND is also available right now for in-person and virtual screenings. This film can help channel emotions of outrage, empathy, and fear into strengthening your organization’s or group’s work, whether it’s for a specific campaign, organizing locally or nationally, or activating people with new knowledge in order to stand with immigrant communities. Screenings can also be used to fundraise for your organization or advocacy campaign.

You don’t have to be a member of an organization or group to host a screening. Anyone can host their own screening. You can also attend an already scheduled screening. Check out the map of places where screenings are coming up below. Join with fellow activists and together we’ll create a national abrazo, virtually and in person.
