We are in the midst of a national uprising to protect immigrants and our democracy! Thousands are standing up opposing our government acting in inhumane and illegal ways. We all ask ourselves, What can I do to join in and make a difference? How can I contribute even if I can’t march? As documentary filmmakers we are also always asking ourselves, How can we exercise our responsibility to document human rights violations even if we can’t stop them from occurring?
At Skylight, once again, we offer the use of our films, especially BORDERLAND | The Line Within to strengthen grassroots, pro-immigrant organizing efforts.
We are making the film available for any level of contribution you choose, even free. By screening BORDERLAND, you are educating yourself and your networks about the vast amount of our tax dollars being wasted on the vicious political spectacle of cruel imprisonment, deportation, and family separation.

You will also be supporting the production of our new film BORDERLAND_Underground, the sequel to BORDERLAND | The Line Within.
Yes, we are already making our new film! We began filming in May and are continuing to document everything happening right now – including this weekend’s mobilizations. (If you are able to contribute larger amounts, we’d love to hear from you!) By using the existing film, you contribute to the creation of BORDERLAND_Underground.
This weekend, there are many ways to participate in immigration protection, act in solidarity with the immigrant rights movement, and to strengthen our communities. March in the day of action on Saturday, June 14th. Use BORDERLAND | The Line Within to organize a neighborhood house party or community screening. Or do both.
