About This Project

“Brazil’s Bolsa Família” describes Bolsa Família, a government program which seeks to break the cycle of poverty by providing conditional cash transfers to households which offer opportunities for social mobility. Through ensuring families can meet their basic needs, they thereby allow them to provide a better future for their children. Fundación Capital’s role with the program is to connect Bolsa Familia with financial inclusion initiatives so that conditional cash transfer  recipients can build assets,develop their own productive projects and transition out of poverty in a sustainable way.
