Nora Christiani

Nora Christiani grew up in Jamaica Plain, MA. A Brooklyn-based media activist and the Director of Programs and Outreach at Skylight, she seeks to use documentary and storytelling to catalyze social change. Nora was the Associate Producer on Young Lakota, a film about Indigenous Feminist organizing on the Pine Ridge Reservation, and coordinated the documentary’s Outreach Campaign. Previously, she was a Princeton in Latin America Fellow with Redes de Tutoría, a Mexican civil society organization that creates Freirian-based “learning communities” in rural public elementary schools across Mexico. Nora graduated with high-honors from Wesleyan University (CT), where she was Phi Beta Kappa and majored Latin American Studies.
